Healthcare Jobs in High Demand Moving 2022

Number of New Jobs in USA (Projected) 2020-2030

The healthcare industry is expected to continue growing as we head into 2022 and beyond, this projected growth is mainly due to covid-19 pandamic and an aging population, leading to greater demand for Healthcare Recruiting.

The pressure on global health systems, providers and staff had already been increased to unsustainable levels. The healthcare system was already working with a shortage of Care Staffing Professionals before it found itself flung into the chaos and overrun hospitals of the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has brought new attention to the importance of healthcare workers in society.

As healthcare spend for COVID-19 increases exponentially, companies that conduct research, produce test kits, develop potential vaccines, and manufacture or supply medical equipment are likely to benefit the most. The reason is clear – governments across the world will invest in not only damage control, but also in the prevention of any potential resurgence of the pandemic.

Healthcare is Recession-proof industry

Healthcare is widely regarded as a recession-proof industry. Now, while businesses shutter, the healthcare system is finding ways to fast-track hiring. In 2018, healthcare became the largest employer in the U.S. California’s projected demand alone is approximately 500,000 new healthcare jobs by 2024. As hospitals become overrun, healthcare workers are in even higher demand than ever before.

High Demand Will Continue to Fuel Healthcare Growth

As per Bureau of Labor Statistics, Healthcare & Medical staffing is projected to grow 16 percent from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations, adding about 2.6 million new jobs. That’s nearly three times the average growth rate for all other occupations. Of the 10 fastest-growing jobs in the U.S., six are in healthcare.

An aging American population is projected to drive a surge in a diversity of healthcare jobs: nursing staffing, physical therapist assistants, medical assistant, nurse practitioners. There’s opportunity in health across the spectrum of educational paths.

Healthcare jobs are projected to add more occupations  than any of the other occupational groups. The demand for these front-line professionals won’t let up, even as the curve begins to flatten. Instead, we are just at the start of a decade of enormous growth for the healthcare industry.

Conclusion

Are you seeking a job in healthcare? This is the perfect time, your chances of finding employment and staying employed are also much greater than in other fields this means you’ll enjoy more career opportunities—and find employment more easily—than job seekers in other industries.
